Hello 2014 Have not been on dA for a while. I think it has somewhat become a place for people who don't wish to contribute their own creative works. While I do not have an issue with people appreciating art, I am not convinced that some of our members think of dA more than a glorified google search. I think the power of dA is the inspirational environment that it creates when you're surrounded by all these wonderful artists from the world over and different backgrounds and perspectives. I think it would be really nice if we (as an artistic community) could inspire more budding artists to pick up a camera, pen, brush, instrument and start

listening to mad season (above) while I try to get my stuff sorted. really great band - pity the creative forces behind it are not on this plane anymore...

Just heard the sad news. Very sad to hear of her passing as she was definitely a icon of the Aussie Rock scene. At least she's no longer in any pain. :(

hopefully I will feel better about my photography tomorrow :) gotta love the self doubt...
